Jeff, Feral, and Tyler have a history of working together in previous bands, namely Cryptic Veil and Extermination Order. Feral envisioned a new concept for Dethlores of Gehenna and knew that Jeff’s vocal prowess was essential. A phone call later, and the band was born.
Music and Influences:Dethlores of Gehenna’s music is a unique blend of stoner metal and doom metal, creating a genre all their own. Their sound is a heavy, atmospheric journey through dark themes and powerful riffs. The band draws inspiration from iconic acts like Celtic Frost, Tryptikon, Megadeth, and Marilyn Manson, weaving elements of these influences into their distinctive style. From the beginning, Dethlores of Gehenna has remained true to the tones and concepts they aimed to capture, consistently delivering a sound that aligns with their vision.
Creative Process:Songwriting: Lyrics are the cornerstone of Dethlores of Gehenna’s creative process. They set the foundation for the music, guiding the band in creating compositions that reflect the lyrical themes and the overarching project concept.
Recording: The band begins recording in their home studio, Hard Wall Studios. For the final mix and mastering, they rely on the expertise of Geneva Post Audio, ensuring a polished and powerful sound.
Collaborations: While Dethlores of Gehenna values feedback and strives to incorporate it, their creative process remains largely internal, driven by their collective vision.
Releases and Performances:Discography: To date, Dethlores of Gehenna has released one EP, Scales of Leviathan. This debut EP marks the beginning of their journey and sets the stage for their future endeavors.
Proudest Release: The song Scales of Leviathan from their EP holds a special place in the band’s heart. It signifies the start of an era and encapsulates the direction they are headed musically.

1. COMING SOON

Fans can look forward to an exciting project in the works—a full metal movie titled Leviathan, Possessor of Souls. This movie, expected to release around HALLOWEEN this year, will feature thematic plots, acting, and the five tracks from their current EP, along with additional footage.
